Lab-Made Custom Earplugs are the same as any of the IM2 style earplugs with the only differences being more color options, (including 3 color swirl options and grow in the dark). 

These are 28.8 dB. NRR (Noise Reduction Rating). 

They'll serve you for at least 6 or 7 years before your ears will begin to outgrow the snug fit. 

They cost $140 and take 3 to 5 weeks to get made at the lab.

Filtered Custom Earplugs often used by musicians and "wait staff" as a passive/non-electronic option for use in music and/or loud social environments where you need/want to hear clearly at a safe and more comfortable volume. 

Available in many different color options and 4 different filter options, (9, 16, 20, 25 dB NRR). They'll serve you for at least 6 or 7 years before your ears will begin to outgrow the snug fit.  

They cost $175 a pair and they take 3 to 5 weeks to get made at the lab.

Electronic Custom Earplugs are essentially the same as the IM2 Port-Alls when combined with an electronic BTE (behind the ear) piece but with these, the electronic piece is embedded in the custom earplug(s).
